Andrea Young - Board Member (April 2012)
Andrea Young is an innovative leader with extensive experience helping organizations grow and managing within complex business models for a variety industries.
Presently, Andrea is the CIO, Vice President of Development for BI Incorporated. BI provides government correctional agencies with innovative compliance technologies, industry-leading monitoring services, and evidence-based supervision and treatment programs for community-based parolees, probationers, and pretrial defendants. Prior to BI, Andrea was the executive responsible for directing Information Technology strategies, systems and support for market leading Janus Capital Group, a publicly-traded, Denver-based investment management firm. Over her 25-year career, Andrea has held several leadership positions managing a broad range of projects and operations.
Andrea has a unique ability to think and act strategically with a proven track record for achieving breakthrough results. Her key strengths include planning and delivering enterprise programs aligned against corporate objectives that maximize growth, building strong organizational capabilities that improve scalability, and optimizing processes and operations that minimize fixed costs.
Andrea is a third generation native to Denver, Colorado, and currently resides in Parker. She enjoys spending time with family, volunteering, skiing, golfing, and travel. Andrea holds a B.S. in Information Systems.
