New Intern
I’m Angie Moran and currently attending Metropolitan State College of Denver and studying human services concentrated in nonprofit administration. As a blind individual filling one of the intern positions here, I’m able to stick my hands in a bunch of activities that go on in the agency and behind the scenes. New foundations attracted me since I’ve always worked with victims and I wanted to see the whole picture.
One of my goals in life is to be as well rounded in as many areas as I can be. That’s why I’m here. I need variety in life so I do some of the nonprofit administration work and run the inmate support telephone program when I can.
When I graduate in May of this year, I will chase one of the many visions that I have in mind. Grad school applications are being filled out and job options are being looked at so I can be prepared in whatever I pick to do. As long as I’m helping in changing the world, I’m happy.
